Super Swing Golf Season 2
For the Wii, 1-4 players?
Releasing a year minus a day from it's earlier self (season 1), this looks like a lot of fun.
One of the greatest parts of the Wii is how it can justify having really kiddy characters, keeping the focus on the game.
It may not be as fun as Halo, or some other awesome-protagonist-game, but it definitely fits with the Wii.
I'd pick this up if you can't find any blockbuster game to, which is so far from my reality it's not funny.

Ahh, good old Indy 500.
I don't think that this is a bad game, necessarily, but if I want a racing game, I'll take a bigger title, like Burnout or NFS.

I finally 'finished' Mario Galaxy. The end was breathtaking, if a little sad.
And just when you think you've finished... it turns out there's WAY more!
I've raised my score, because it ROCKS.

For the Wii, 1-2 players
Now HERE's an attractive looking bundle.
Apparently it centers a bunch around flying, and is very good at it.
An interesting bit: you can use the Wiimote, Wiimote & Nunchuk, OR the GC Controller.
Odd, huh? You'd think it would be perfectly suited to the 'mote.
This marks the end of the highly publicized games for this year, my friends. Never fear, though! We can always wait for SSBB.

Bring 3 friends, instant fun, right? Quite possibly.

The Golden Compass

The book turned movie turned game.
Well, I certainly don't expect anything special out of this.
Released for all systems.... SIGH.
This could have actually been kind of fun (probably) if it had 2+ player.
Ah well, now it's a toss-up.

Godzilla Unleashed

I actually like these, button-masher games. I've always been good at them.
Who doesn't like crushing your opponents with buildings and the like?
Even if you're a giant, lightning-breathing lizard?

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
For the Wii & PS3, 1-2 players
Meh. Another Dragonball Z game.

I used to be a fan (sort of), but this really kind of pushes it over the edge for me.
I expect nothing special, nothing innovative, nothing new.
However, you'll see lots of characters, so WHOOPEE.

Alvin and the Chipmunks
For all minus the X360
Aww, poor 360 gets left out. Sad, right?
WRONG.
This game is a monster of bad sound, horrible graphics, distasteful play and WORST difficulty.
Dressed up like GH3, only horrible.
1.7 out of 10 by IGN. What else is there to say?

Well, it appears Mario Galaxy has finally beat the all-time-high-score of Ocarina Of Time, which hasn't been beat for over 8 years!
WOW. I thought the day would never come, but.... here it is.

Nintendo, often thought to be the most family-friendly game company, has received a 0!

Mario Galaxy

Well, this is TEH AWESOMEZ. It's so kiddy, so nice... The best game of the year, for sure.
Granted, the storyline isn't anything to gape at, but everything else more than makes up for it.
It's a great party game on some levels, wonderful to look at, and FRESH! So nice and fresh. It makes you wish for every game to be like this.
Great suits, great ideas... every level is like a completely different game.
One problem: My friend brought this to my attention and now I can't stop thinking about it.
You know how in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl screenshots, Mario looks cool and TEXTURED? Well, try as I might, I can't find any textures in the game. It doesn't bother me that much, but It's kind of strange.
Also, there's some news at the bottom about this! Check it out!

I can't really explain what it is except that it's Guitar Hero, only better and more instruments. Personally, I'd love to pick up that microphone and KARAOKE AWAY!
Actually, it's soon coming out for the PS2. Weird.

Now HERE is a great lookin' game.
To me, this seems like one of those, fresh, engaging games that have no regard for 'normal' games.
I think that this is a game I would definitely play (were it not for the other 300 coming out already).

Ah, another bowling game. I'm kinda tired of bowling games, though, so I don't have much of a comment.
It's like Wii Sports Bowling suddenly spawned lots of bowling games. *sigh*.

Ghost Squad

Contrary to its name, this has nothing to do with ghosts. It's another 1ST PERSON SHOOTER!!
I don't mind telling you, I'm getting tired of these WW1-2 based shooters. SIGH.

Ah, the old slash-chop-disembowel.
Good times. Anyway, it looks good, though under-hyped and buried under tons of other games.
Still, if you're a fan, I totally recommend getting it. The controls should be fun.

Trauma Center: New Blood
For the Wii, 1 player
MMM-mm. Trauma Center. The only time when ER is FUN!
This has always seemed like a good, fun, clean (um...) game to me.
The last game really integrated the Wiimote, and I can't see why this wouldn't.
It's also fully voiced now. No more boring, scrolling text.

Star Trek: Conquest

I already touched on this last time, so I'll be brief.
Yeah, good graphics, looks good feels good, etc.

Indoor Sports

Odd. Even though it's due December 3rd, it has practically no info.

Years ago, it trumped all other game reviews, and has stayed up there since. Now it has been toppled by Mario Galaxy.

Okay. Just listen to the storyline. 'You're an Assassin, living in Damascus, part of an elusive, secreted society called the Hashashim.' I mean, come on? Can you NOT see that as an awesome game?
My only regret is that it doesn't come out for the Wii. *sigh*

Ah. Now we get down to this. This is the creme' de la creme'. This is RAWK. I am so getting it tonight, and it's frankly sad that I don't have it already. Anyway, this sounds pretty awesome, with the SUITS. you go into suits and become a bee, or a ghost, or more! I mean, don't you just wanna hug it and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze....
One problem: 2 player = 2nd player collects star bits. Doesn't sound fun to me, but then I never intended it for parties either.

Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2
For the Wii, 1-4 players
Now, if you want a party game, this is where you head. It's so packed to the brim with minigames, cuteness, fun, extras, and more that if you opened it, it would EXPLODE! I would totally get this if I wasn't getting Galaxy.

Need For Speed: ProStreet
For everything, 1-4 players
Another mass-produced game. I had thought a racing game of its caliber would be good regardless of the possibly-sucky controls, but I guess I was wrong. I hear they sold out to corporations this time even more. If that's possible.

I think I've already covered this, but anyway it's another awesome Mario game.
Supposedly it has you traveling to different worlds. Pretty cool, eh? Anyway, due November 12. YAY!

Rock Band

A spawn-off of the popular Guitar Hero's, but this seems to have gone one better.
Now, you can be a Guitarist, drummer, singer AND um... other guitarist!

Okami
For the Wii, 1 player
Yay, it's finally coming to the Wii!
For those of you that don't know, Okami is a very artsy, cool game revolving around a wolf-like being. Something about color. Anyway, if you're like me, you wondered why this wasn't coming out for the Wii originally. It just looks so... cool and different. really can't wait. Oh, and if you're apprehensive about 'yet another port', no worries. The producer himself said that it wouldn't be. Due Q3 '08, somewhere in fall, so like a year from now.

Shrek: Ogres and Donkeys

Yeah, a mashed-up lego star wars game. It's supposed to include extras, many episodes etc, but I'm going to stick with my realistic Star Wars. Your choice, though.

My advice: stay away from a game if it releases on the Gamecube and PS2. It shows the developers are desperate.

New to SSBB is a feature that allows you to edit a level, creating it from scratch!

Not much is known about this, but it was stolen from the PS3! Perhaps this is a developer saying the Wii is better.
Now it's an exclusive for the Wii! Yeah, that's pretty much all I care about this game.

Avatar: The last Airbender - The Burning Earth
For the Wii and everything else, 1-2 players
Again, a game made for everything... just don't think it'll be any good whatsoever. I mean, this sort of thing has potential! Imagine what the Wiimote could do! ... but no. I just don't think it'll be worth it. Sigh. Due October 16th- today!

Victorious Boxers: Revolution
For the Wii, 1-2 players
Now this looks fun. Though the same-ish version of the game for other platforms is being worked on, it's by a different company. All you developers listening? THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT. Treat the Wii version as something for aliens. It is nothing like the others (Due October 16th- today).
Guidelines:
1. Each design studio shall be no less than 20 miles apart
2. Each designer is locked inside a room, tied in a straitjacket and told to type with their teeth
3. Each storyline artist shall be locked inside a room and given drugs
4. Each background designer shall be a background designer
5. Anyone who enters the building shall be eliminated
6. Anyone who leaves the building shall be eliminated
7. Anyone who thinks about the building while on vacation with a lizard shall be promoted
8. The game is finished when the game is finished.

WiiWare has finally come out! Prepare to enjoy titles such as Pokemon: Farm, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles 2, Star Soldier R, Dr. Mario and more! I'd explain what WiiWare IS, but I'm currently a little confused about that. Help would be appreciated!

Motorcycles in Mario Kart!
The next Mario Kart (for the Wii) will supposedly have Motorcycles in it. I've heard it from both sides of the story, one saying it's great, the other saying it's not, but The overruling theme in the 'not' category is that it's not as original. I have to say that I support whatever decision Nintendo makes, 'cause I'm a mindless sheep! No, really, I think it'll be fine.

Wow. This is wowness. This is like November's Holy Grail to Wii gamers, and you know why?
Because it ROCKS. It looks good, it's been worked on for a long time, there's a lot of hype.... Yep. It should be awesome. I'm definitely getting it. Due Nov. 12th.

Star Trek: Conquest
For the Wii, probably 1 player
Well well, the old crusty series gets to be relived again in a game. First off, let me say that I don't have high hopes for this. Instead of being a cool, 'Wiimote=phaser' thing, it's a turn-based weirdish thing. I dunno. Time will tell. Also, I don't think many people will get it at the start, due to the game above. Due Nov. 13th

Bleach: Shattered Blade
For the Wii, 1-2 players
Another awesome OR crash and burn game. One of the things that could make it awesome would be very comprehensive Wiimote usage, and if that failed it could make it sucky. I like the series, but knowing it, if you don't follow it too closely you'll be way left behind. I'd say that if you like the series, get it, if not, don't. Due Oct. 9th - Tomorrow!

Half Life: Orange Box
For the XBOX 360
I had to put this in here because it is popular!
On Oct. 10, a package of Half Life, HL 2: 1 & 2, As well as Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Not a whole lot to say 'cuz I don't play this kind of game, but it looks pretty cool.

I dunno. I'm not a big fan of sports games and ESPECIALLY not of games that come out for every system the producers can get their greedy little hands on. *sigh*... that's life. Due Oct. 9th

This looks like a good game, but I feel it's caught up in this maelstrom of 'get-all-games-out-so-christmas-shoppers-can-get-em' games. Too bad. Oh well... if only there was another holiday like Christmas... it would break up the game distribution, not to mention the extra presents! (Nintendo, you listening?) Ah... the dreams of a gamer. Out yesterday.

Super Smash Bros.
For the Wii, 1-4 players
Wow, this is kind of insane. I've brought this game up, what, 5 times now? Anyway, it now features (Drum roll) ONLINE PLAY! Whie waiting for it to load, you can enjoy beating up a poor defenseless creature called sandbag, and you can have messages keyed to different buttons!YAY!
For those who haven't got it beaten in to them yet, comes out December 3rd.

MLB PowerPros
For the Wii, 1 player
This game looks fun and cutesy. It's a baseball game, with you as a character with no facial charictaristics, except for eyes. It looks fun and cutesy, as I said before, and I think it's more geared towards children. Comes out TOMORROW!

Where to start, where to start...
IT ROCKS.
It just does. It is all it was meant to be and more, the storyline rocks, the ideas rock, the gameplay, multiplayer, weapons, ROCKINGNESS... ROCKS. It just does. If you have a 360, you should buy this or shoot yourself. Your call.

DDR Hottest Party
For the Wii, 1-4 Players
Dance Dance Revolution is back! The popular game that you dance in time to the music now has a new feature: Wiimote involvement. In addition to stomping on the beat, you'll now have to position your fist(s) in exactly the right way while breaking the floor! Sounds like fun, doesn't it? DOESN'T IT???

Balls of Fury
For the Wii and DS, probably 2 players
Okay, before we even go there, it's a ping pong game. not whatever the heck you thought it was. Anyway, it seems sorta fun to me, though my gamersense says it'll just be a stupid port. Who knows.

NinjaBread Man
For the Wii and other systems, 1 player
Now this looks like hilarious fun to me. Basically you're a ninja ginga' bread man and you need to defeat the evils taking over candyland. I think that this is going to be awesome. I like the looks of it lots. Yep. One thing I do have to say is that I think it will just be a port. Sigh.

Dragon Blade, Wrath of Fire
For the Wii, 1 player
Well, this is a little old, so I'm only going to take a little time on it. I think it probably rocks, it's only for the Wii, it's made by a good developer, it has a great story, etc. Given a 7.8 by Gamespot.

For the Wii, incredibly 2 PLAYERS!
Yes, one and all, it IS true. STAR WARS is coming to the Wii! It will include using the Wiimote as your lightsaber and your nunchuk as your force powers. Now you can indulge your childhood fantasies of swinging around a lightsaber! I know I still have mine. Also, first ever 2 PLAYER MULTIPLAYER!!! This will be a battle royale to the death that I can't wait to start! This is one of the reasons I've been sadder than I have to be, but now I'm euphorically happy!!! Anyway, I'm far too happy to have time to laugh in all the XBOX and PS3 owners faces!! HAHA to you, DEMOTHENES!!1 No offense or anything.

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2
For the Wii, 32 Players!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, another awesome thingie! For those of you that don't know, Medal of Honor is about WWII historic battles. This will be freakin' awesome with the 32 player online capabilities. I like the looks of this game, and I might even get it if there wasn't already 528438 other games coming out. It will support use of the Wii Zapper; see below. Due Nov. 13th.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Fuuketsu no Grimoire
For the DS
Covered because of popular demand, here is FFTA2: FnG. Wow, even the abbreviation is long. Anyway, this is another spawn-off to the popular series; Final Fantasy. There must be, what, 32 different games?! Anyway, rant over. This looks like a lot of fun, due to the utilization of the touch screen. I mean, it could be bad, but I don't think it will be. Anyway, due Oct. 25th.

Star Trek: Conquest
For the Wii
[sarcasm]Ah, a game made from a popular movie franchise. good thing you don't see too much of that. [/sarcasm]
Anyhow, this might be fun, might not. Can't really tell; my gamersense is dormant. It does have a lot of versatility, though.

My Sims
For the DS and Wii, 1 player
This is a spin off of the popular Sims games,where you get to create a character and design EVERYTHING, then sit back and direct your Sims to a happy life. I sound like a freakin' commercial. Anyway, I think this is more fun for the DS, given the gameplay and all. I've heard it's a good family game, but not really socially fleshed-out. Anyhoo, given a 6.5 by Gamespot.

Sonic Rush Adventure
For the DS (while it has come out, I have no idea how many players it's supposed to have)
A game appealing to all the followers of the once-mega-popular Sonic franchise. Wouldn't YOU want to be a blue hedgehog running at maniacal speeds and collecting rings? Whatev, kind of means if you like it, you do and if you don't you don't. An either/or thing. Given an 8 by Gamespot.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution
For the Wii (see above)
From the PSP, coming to the Wii. Don't know about any of you, but this looks highly addictive to me. You roll a marble-ish thing around mazes... = addictive. Rule of thumb, I guess. It also looks really polished and could be really fun if they use the Wiimote well. Kind of a toss-up.
Given an 8.5 by Gamespot.

TALK

Wii Zapper
As some of you might have seen, Nintendo has made some products to enhance he feel of a game. For instance, a tennis add-on, golf, etc. They're just pieces of plastic that make it look more real. However, the Zapper is a gun add-on, holding the Wiimote and Nunchuk, making it look AND feel a lot more realistic. It costs $20, and it comes with 'Link's Crossbow Training', a game where you play as Link and shoot enemies with the Zapper. Some of us impulsive Link fans may feel the need to buy it, but I'm not ready to give up my hard-earned dollars.

Mario Kart Wii
1- (can it be?) 12 players, for the Wii
Ah, Mario Kart. The series we’ve all been waiting for in the Nintendo Racing world.
What is it, you ask? Why, simply a game where you race around the track, collect power ups and through ridiculously large
turtle shells at your opponents. One feature wii’ll have to hope for is the 12 players option. Rumored, and hopefully true.
The game will also feature online play and the use of the sideways Wiimote, and will come with a snap-on wheel for it.
Due for Q1* 2008.
*I think this means the first quarter, like the first 3 months or something.

Trauma Center: First Blood
1-2 players
The popular series where you slice, dice, mince and cut stars in people is back! By which, I mean heal people. All for science.
This time it will have 2 player co-op play and full voice dialogue. All I can say is that I’ve liked these games in the past, and they’re really innovative with the Wiimote. Also has a great storyline. Due for November 20th.

Mario Galaxy
For the Wii, 1-2 players
Ol’ Shigeru Miyamoto is at it again, with a new Mario game in production. Ah, plumbers… pixels… DK throwing barrels… Good times, good times.
Anyway, this looks freakin’ awesome, if I do say so myself. The graphics are amazing, the places are amazing… Literally WORLDS of goodness out there (really. GALAXY. Duh). Apparently there are mini worlds you can explore, hopping / blasting from one to another. For those tired of the cliché, I am sorry to say that, yes, Princess Peach is captured, and yes, Bowser has at least some part in it. Oh well, the more things change, the more they stay the same. 14th most anticipated for Wii on Gamespot. Due for November 12, can’t wait!

De Blob
For the Wii, 1-4 players
Very, very… odd. As the name suggests, you are a blob. Basically, you travel through streets and alleys alike as you return color to the drained Chroma City’s color. Wow. Not much I can say. Due for Q1 ’08 (see above).

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
For the DS, 1-2 players
Continuing their looked-upon-with-scorn Windwaker game comes the sequel… on the DS. I personally think that this will be an awesome game, with great graphics etc. I can’t wait to see how they incorporate the touch screen! Anyway, try not to look on this series with too much distaste. It was an interesting venture into cel-shading, and still is. I do think the 2 player option won’t amount to much though; Zelda has always been 1 player only*.
Due for October 1st, get it!
*with exceptions.

Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2
1-(something large) players, for the Wii
The Rabbids (and Rayman) are back in the sequel to their interesting game of last year! It will feature many, many minigames and polished multiplayer play. If you liked the Rabbids, you’ll like ‘em when they’re ravin’. Really a party game, so bust it out when there’s boredom in da house!
Due for the day after a year from its prequel’s date. Spooky.

SoulCalibur Legends
The popular slash-hack-dice-slam-crush and more is back, with you again saving an empire! Though it’s supposed to release in Q4 ’07, hey haven’t put out a whole lot of info. Anyway, this game could incorporate the Wiimote really nicely, or it could be a horrible port of Soulcalibur. Their call.

Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution
For the DS, probably 1 player
Ah, turn based strategy. So much fun. Anyhoo, I think this may be good. Hard to tell, but I can hope. As usual, it’ll depend a lot upon how they use the touch screen. We can only wait. Due for Q2 ’08.

The Simpsons Game
For practically EVERYTHING
The Simpsons Game, no doubt inspired by the Simpsons Movie. They each have special powers, and now they have to save the world. I’m sure the game is full of little twists, turns and funny bits, as usual. I think this could be quite enjoyable, unless they completely butcher the Wii controls, which I’m afraid they may do. Sigh. Due Q4 ‘07

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Ah, SSBB. If you’ve been watching this series for a while, you’ll know that I like to rave about it. Since I’ve already raved so much, I’ll let that pass for now. All I really have to say is that all the videos I’ve seen of it look awesome. I think they could ship it out now, but HEY! This is Nintendo, yo!
Anyway, it’s now been changed to Dec 3rd.

This looks really good to me. You’re basically a Guitarist on your DS, using the touch screen as your virtual strings. I think that, if this actually is how it sounds, it will rock, but otherwise it’ll be just okay. Released today, 9/11.

Drawn to Life
For the DS, 1 player
This looks pretty awesome. It has a very comprehensive level and adventure system, and get this: you draw your own character (hence the name)!
All of you budding artists with just the right design in your head, take note! I think this will ROCK! Just a feeling. Call it my gamersense.

Slim PSP
The Slim PSP will be released sometime in September. It’s basically a scaled down, lighter version of the normal PSP. Comes in black, white or silver.

iPhone NES Emulator
Ah, yet another reason to get an iPhone. Now it will be capable (with the emulator) to play old NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) games from back in the day. Ah, good times, good times.

Is The Wii Expanding the Market?
Some have argued that the Wii is just another console that’s no different from the rest. I, for one, believe differently.
For example, just look at how many grandparents are picking it up, if only for the sports or fitness. So definitely expanding there.

Metroid 3 –this one sort of doesn’t fit in here
There’s been some rivalry between BIOSHOCK and Metroid Prime 3 on which is the better first person shooter. The rivalry could be nailed down to one point on the controllers: Aim. Mainly it’s the person’s choice on which to do, but if you’re having troubles, check this.

Wii Controller:

The good = Easier & faster to aim. Now you don’t need 2 thumbsticks. The bad = Pointer almost always wavers. Hard to keep it steady.

XBOX Controller:

The good = More correct and steady pointer. The bad = 2 thumbsticks, slower sometimes

Now, it seems to me like this problem is mostly solved using a computer. You have the mouse, so faster and more steady aiming, however different it might be. However, if you’re like me, you’re going to have to fork over the cash to get your computer less limited. Oh well, no one said being a gamer was easy.

This is a HUGE compilation of Pool games. Different versions of hitting a ball with a long stick to make it hit another ball. I dunno.

Worms: A Space Oddity

Now, this seems a little weird to me, but here I go.
*ahem* Worms is a great tactical game where you aim and shoot to hit the enemy worms, with a variety of different ammo and effects. The difference this particular game will have is that it happens on a few different PLANETS. Weird, huh? Anyway, expect it in ’08.

Professional Fisherman’s Tour: Northern Hemisphere

Whew, and if you thought Guilty Gear’s name was long. Pro Fisherman’s tour is a game in which you compete with your friends on who can catch the biggest fish, or just try for a high record against yourself. I hope the touch screen is integrated fully into this, ‘cuz that would make it way more fun.

I Spy Funhouse
For the DS
A sequel to the ever-popular book and sometimes video game series where the world is made just so you can have lots of fun finding random stuff.
I had previously thought the video game part of this series was lost in the ever-shifting sands of VGWorld, but I guess not. I think this will be a lot of fun to do, and a welcome relief from the ‘Kill the boss, win’ kind of mindset. I enjoyed these sort of things as a child.

This looks okay, I guess… I would have liked to have seen more data on it, but meh.
It’s a bicycling racing game, kinda Tony Hawk Game-y looking. You can have up to 4 people playing, and there’s an online feature, so that’s pretty nice. Due for today!

Brunswick Pro Bowling

Just released today, BPB is a lot like Wii Bowling, at first glance. Looking more closely, however, we see that the screen is more complicated, game more thought out, and real characters instead of Miis. It looks pretty polished, I must say. Not bad.

Brain Age 2
For the DS, 1 player
For those of you that don’t know, the whole point of Brain Age games is to make you smarter. They come with a pack of brain-teasing games, mysteries and mind-boggling puzzles. You could compete with someone else to see who’s smarter, or you could challenge yourself to get a bigger brain.

Finally, BIOSHOCK, the game that’s sweeping the nation.
Currently out for the PC, this game packs a punch with graphics, whole WORLDS worth exploring, and a slowly assembling mystery. A piece of news is attached to this, but you’ll have to get it in the News section. Apparently there are some minor bugs, and that’s why it was only given a 9.0 by Gamespot, and you know how stingy they are.

Less IC chips and less PCBS = less Wiis
There’s some talk going around about how there are some hardware shortages of IC chips and PCBS, and that this shortage will cause another dip in Wii production. I personally don’t believe this, but you’re free to believe whatever you want. That’s what the NEWS section is for.

New XBOX 360 Core version- dubbed ARCADE
Apparently, Microsoft is redoing their Corse version of the 360, lowering price and changing the content a bit. I think this is STUPIDITY to the max. As the name implies, Microsoft is trying to get on the boat- the fast flying boat- of Arcade games. I’m sorry Microsoft, but just because you dub your console ‘Arcade’ doesn’t mean that all the fans of old Microsoft arcade games -wait… are there any?- will jump on it. The Wii is prominently the ‘Play arcade games on me’ console, and that’s not changing soon. Pretty much all the fans already have a Wii, why switch? Bad move, Microsoft.

Wii sells 1 Million in UK
The Wii recently has reached the 1 mil. point in the United Kingdoms! Hurrah!

Sonic in SSBB
Apparently one newcomer in Super Smash Bros. Brawl – the game we’ve all been waiting for – is our furry little friend from Sony, Sonic the Hedgehog. I’ve seen no confirmation of this, and the official site ( http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.html ) says nothing of the sort. Odd, but this could have implications of more Sony characters and maybe a Microsoft one or two! Glee!
I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t care much about the implications. I’m just going to enjoy beating the crud out of Sonic.

Ocarina of Time vs. Bioshock
As we’ve seen how Bioshock is taking names around the country, it’s also taking GREAT review scores. Back in the day, Oot did this too, and now Oot has a competitor for best reviewed game. I wouldn’t know, because right now all my poor PC can take game-wise is Sim-Ant. Ouch. Anyway, hold tight, folks.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Metroid. Samus. Aliens. Girl in big suit. Ring a bell? All I can say is that anyone actually wanting to get ANY of the good games this season are going to be paying it off for YEARS. Yay. Anyhoo, Metroid is a 1st-person space shooter game that’s been going for a LONG time. It seems like a pretty good game, and they could do some interesting things with the Wiimote, but it’s been screwed up before *coughRED STEELcough*.
Who knows. Definitely a good choice for your money, though. Due for August 27 ’07. Quick quick, reserve it!

Wii Fit
For the Wii
Wii Fit is like a step up from Wii Sports and etcetera. It comes with a board for exercise and yoga and other things. Interesting, if I do say so myself, that they think this will be very popular. We’ll have to see. Not much is known about this, including the release date. We’ll have to see.

I’ve heard some about this, but I can’t find it online. Oh well.

Not an excellently done game, say the critics. Megaman is a 2D shooter. Maybe you’ll like it, maybe not. Given a 6 by Gamespot.

Mario Strikers Charged
For the Wii, 1-4 players.
Mario Strikers Charged is the much-hyped sequel of Mario Strikers. It’s a soccer game with your favorite Nintendo characters playable. You kick, tackle and special your way to the opposing goal, then charge up your strike and slam it past the goalie’s waiting fingers.
Seems like a lot of fun. Given 7.5 by Gamespot.

Boogie
For the Wii, 1 player
Boogie is a sort of spawn-off of the guitar hero and Rockband legacies, except you only sing and dance. All the same, it looks fun, though critics and users seem not to like it. Gamespot gave it a 5.5. Ouch. I think the $60 might be a little too much. Oh well.

The new Super Smash Bros. game is rumored to have a story mode, with an actual storyline. Sounds good, like yet another thing that’ll be fun about it. Woot!
